Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kunz were visitors at Janesville and Rockford, Sunj Explorer Groups In -Scout-o-Rama One of the more active Scout units in the Kishwaukee district is McHenry's Sea Exporer Ship 629. Led by Skipper Ed Pfingsten, this unit has gained recognition for its discipline and seamanship, including a citation for flood rescue work during high water conditions of past years in the McHenry area. This post will demons t r a t e s e a m a n s h i p w i t h a "mock-up" of a ship's deck at the Scout-O-Rama April 22. The Pistakee Highlands association sponsors the thirteen Sea Scouts comprising this ship. Walter (Bud) Messel is "mate" of the "ship". Air Explorer Post 131, also of McHenry, operates its own plane as one of its activities. These Explorers study aerodynamics and flying. They design planes, make plans for model planes, build and fly them. A number of these planes will appear at the Scout-ORama. This post has consented to fly their full sized airplane to the Crystal Lake air port, remove the wings and tow it to the high school, field house to be put on display as one of the Scout-O-Rama's feature attractions. The Methodist Men's club of McHenry sponsors this live wire group. Robert Lombardi serves as adviser and Douglas Brusso as associate advisor. -Holiday H1D« Baby Boys Bos To Area Couple Rita Oleyar Baby boys, were born to two Holiday Hills families last, week. The first a 7 lb., 3 oz., infant was bom to Don and Midge Teuber who live at 3 Sunset Drive. The birth took place at 2 o'clock Wednesday, March 15, at a hospital in Highland Park. The Teubers have two other boys, Keith, who is fomr and Kurt who is almost two. May White presented her husband Jack, with a 7 lb. boy on Monde®, March 13. The baby was bprn in Elgin at the Sherman hospital. The Whites live at 19 S. Maple and have two other children. They are Allen, three, and Susie, two. Our congratulations and best wishes to both families. The occasion also held a sad note, for it was also a farewell party for Ed who leaves for California next week to take up a new job.
