Mr. Walsh's long--service to McHenry began ^twenty-four .years ago when he was elected 3s city clerk. ' THOMAS F. BOLGEE ' City Treasurer The only candidate for city treasurer is Thomas F. Bolger, seeks a third term. Mr. Bolger resides at 116 West Broad street, McHenry, and is cashier and director of the McHenry State Bank. He is on the Progressive ticket. He; is a lifetime resident of McHenry and a graduate of the local high school. He is affiliated with the American Legion, VFW, Moose lodge, Knights of Columbus and Cath- Jfcc Order of Foresters. He is also player agent of the McHenry Little League and a member of the board of directors of Memorial Hospital for DONALD C. HOWARD Police Magistrate The only candidate for police magistrate of the city is Donald C. Howard of the Progressive party ticket. He has held this office for the past tour years. * Mr. Howard, who is manager of Gem Cleaners in McHenry, has also been on the high school board of education for the past nine years. He is a lifetime resident of the community, and now resides at 302 John street. He is past governor of the Moose lodge, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Mr. and Mrs. Howard have two sons, Ronald and Terry. Donald H. Schaefer of 117 W. Broad street is one of two candidates for alderman in the first ward, running on the Progressive ticket. A thirty-fouryear resident of the community, he is an employee of Illinois Bell Telephone company as a communications serviceman. Mr. Schaefer is a graduate of the McHenry high school.
