Main street, exchanged nuptial vows in a beautiful afternoon wedding at the Community Methodist church last Saturday, June 17. Rev. George Martin officiated at the 2 o'clock service which united in marriage the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley A. West, Jr., of Hunterville Park, McHenry, and the son of Mrs. Joseph Seese of Riverdale subdivision and Mr. riarold P. Fischbach, Sr., of Salem, Wis. Miss Celia Page was organist, and Mrs. Irma Blomgren was soloist for the ceremony, the latter singing "The Lord's Prayer" and "I Love You Truly". Miss West was charming in a chantilly lace gown fashioned with scalloped neckline and tapered sleeves. Tlif molded bodice continued into a bouffant skirt and tiered, chapel length train. Her ballerina length veil was held by a pearl and crystal crown. Acting as her attendants were Mrs. Pat Schnaedter of Medinah, Miss Nancy West of McHenry, Mrs. Arlene Fowler of Johnsburg, Mrs. Laurie Tyche of Wheeling and Miss Charlene Crawley of Lilymoor. They were attired similarly in dresses of silk checked organza, ballerina length, in a rainbow of colors. They wore plateau hats in matching colors. Attending the groom were Raymond Port en, Martin Cima, Raymond Gore and Roy Reckwerdt, Jr., of Island Lake, and Robert Alongi of Chicago. Mrs. West was attired in a blue silk sheath dress and white accessories, while the groom's mother wore yellow, with beige accessories. Following a reception for 275 at the Legion home in McHenry, the couple departed on an auto trip for two weeks to Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and New Orleans. They will reside at 304 W. Lincoln avenue, Barrington. The bride is a 1958 graduate of the McHenry high school and of Moser secretarial school. She is employed as a secretary for Architectural Forum Magazine, Chicago. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond T. Albright of 3019 W. Crescent avenue, McHenry, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Fredrech Ballstaedt of McHenry. Rev. Harold Nilges officiated at the double ring ceremony at 11 o'clock in St. Mary's Catholic church, which was decorated with bouquets of white glads and white carnation1s, . Miss Celia * Page was'organist and Mrs. Mary Ann Wegener, soloist, sang "On This Day O Beautiful Mother" as the bride placed a bouquet of carnations on the altar of the Virgin Mary. Miss Albright approvached the altar in a gown of white Schiffli embroidered tulle with scalloped sabrina neckline and s h o r t s l e e v e s . H e r c h a p e l length train draped over an underskirt of tiers and tiers of crystal tulle ruffles. The fingertip veil was held in place by a crown of orange blossoms and pearls, and she carried a bouquet of Amazon lilies and stephanotis. Attendants for the bride were her sister, Barbara, as maid of honor, Mrs. Gary Houts of Crystal Lake, sister of the groom, and Miss Ponna Wohlert of, McHenry, a friend, as bridesmaids. All wore attired similarly in dpesses of pale lilac nylon organza over taffeta, their bouffant, ballerina length gowns styled with sleeves of • clustered flowers and tiny pearls. Their dresses w e r e d e s i g n e d w | t h s q u a r e necklines and each had a choker pearl necklace. Their matching half hats were highlighted with tiny pearls and circular veils. They wore matching shoes and white gloves. The girls carried colonial bouquets of deep pink carnations and stephanotis. Elmhurst, cousin of the bride, was the pretty little flower girl, wearing a white embroidered nylon over taffeta dress, with lilac silk organza sash. She wore a bow headpiece and carried the same type of bouquet as the bridesmaids, in miniature size. Gary Houts of Crystal Lake, brother-in-law of the groom, served as best man and groomsmen were Donald Fout of Spring Grove, friend of the groom, and Matt Wolf of McHenry. The bride's mother selected a hyacinth print taffeta sheath dress with silk organza overwhite accessories and a white orchid corsage. Mrs. Ballstaedt chose an orchid linen sheath dress with white accessories and a similar corsage. Brunch was served at the bcide's home immediately after the wedding for the bridal group and immediate family. A reception was held at 5 o'clock for 200 guests at the V.F.W. clubhouse. In charge of the guest register was Miss Nancy Wohlert, friend of the bride. The bride is a graduate of the McHenry high school with the class of 196i. Mr. Ballstaedt graduated in Bruehl, Germany, and is employed with the American Steel Treating Co. The newlyweds left Sunday by plane for a trip to Europe, where they will visit France, Germany and Switzerland. ATTEND FIRST MASS Mr. and Mrs. John Thennes, Miss Margaret Blake and Mrs. Henry M. Weber of McHenry, Rev. Fr. Clarence Thennes of Stockton and Rev. James Weber of Freeport attended the first solemn Mass of their cousin, Rev.
