R. McChesney, Mrs. Walter Low and Mrs. Paul Walkington. In the morning they heard Rev. Gerson Veiga from Brazil speak ^bout "The Mission Challenge Brazil". Rev. Veiga is a student at Garrett and will return to his native country to serve his people. Miss Njjivala Salve told about the problems and conditions in her native India where the population increases at the rate of one Chicago a year. She is attending Wayne university at Detroit where she will receive a degree in education and go back to teach for $.50 a month and spend part of her salary Jfor Reading material. Her message topic to us was "Would You Like to Light a Candle for Illiterate India." In the afternoon they attended a workshop for their respective offices where they learned about the duties of their offices. As the organization is so new, members feel very much in need of time together outside the regular services of the church where they can all become better acquainted.
