The young woman who would have been 43 on Aug. 18, had been joking and laughing with her husband, George, and younger son, Richard, just minutes before she was stricken. Wonder Lake road, McHenry. The baby died Aug. 3 in Sherman hospital, Elgin, where she had been a patient for two Weeks. Besides her parents, the infant is survived by her grahdparents, who reside at Wonder Lake. The body, rested at the George Jus ten & Son funeral hortie. Mr. and Mrs. Baumbeck had been visiting in McCullom Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Jensen. Sr., last Saturday night, and Mrs. Baumbeck had also attended the 9:45 a.m. Mass at St. Mary's church on Sunday. Several years ago after a serious illness, Mrs. Baumbeck underwent extensive tests to determine the cause of her recurring ailments. She was a patient at McHemy hospital when i'ie serious heart condition was discovered. She was then referred to Mayo Brothers .clinic, where the original diagnosis was confirmed. Elizabeth (Retty) Baumbeck was born Aug. IS. 1918. in Chicago, the daughter of Magdalena and Jacob Stemper, both of whom preceded her in death. She married George Baumbeck on June 25. 1938, and they had two sons, George (Butch i, 21, Airman, second class, stationed at Lake Air Force base, Phoenix, Ariz, and Richard, 16, a high school student. The Bnumbe-ks were one of the first families to settle in what is now ;he village of Me- Cullorrt Lake in 1944. Four years ago, the family moved to their present address on Mason Hill road. JULIUS KEG Friends in McHenry have just learned of the death of Julius Keg, a former local resident," which occurred in Orlando, Fla., on July 12. Mr. Keg will be remembered as a dredging contractor here for several years, work'n? on the various channels in this area. After leaving McHenry, the family settled in Madison, Fla., and later, upon his retirement, moved to Orlando, where they reside at 1024 W. Yale avenue. Burial was in Winter Park, Fla. RAYMOND WATERS Raymond Terry Waters, 80, a resident of Bay View lane, Pistakee Bay. for forty-eight years, died in McHenry hospital last Friday, Aug. 4, where he had been a patient for only three days. The deceased was born June 19, 1S81, in Chicago, where he still maintained a home on Sheridan road. Survivors include the widow, Florence; two sons, Raymond T., Jr., and Frank S. Waters.
