Those unable to attend may secure absentee ballots from our president, Carl Simoirsen, of 3101 Still Hill drive, or from our recording secretary, Mrs. Ray D. Moore, of 1015 Hilltop boulevard. The attention of members is called to the fact that dues for the calendar year, 1962, are due on Jan. 1, 1962. Members may remit for same to the treasurer, W. H. Coates, of 3010 StiU Hill drive, or pay at the Jcmuary meeting prior to voting* and several broken teeth as a result of a toll off a ladder outside his home on Sunday, the sixteenth. Sixteen stitches were required on his face. We are all wishing him a speedy recovery and hope he will be home soon. Passed Avvsny Mrs. W. E. Wilbur, mother of Mildred Snively of 700 Riverside drive, passed away on Friday, Dec. 15, in Lake Geneva. Funeral was held in Lake Geneva on Monday, Dec. 18. Our sincere sympathy is extended to Mildred. In the Hospital John M. Gale of 808 Carpi avenue suffered two broken arms, severe face lacerations •HI Carolers Visit the "BIwkb" A group of sixteen carolers, from the Faith Presbyterian church came to McHenry Shores on Tuesday evening, Dec. 19. They sang in front of the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Duncan on Still Hill drive and Mr. and Mrs. William Partain of 3104 Beach drive. After singing a number of Christina* carols they wished everyone a very Merry Christmas. The choral was directed by Mrs. A. Roy Kissling. Christmas Parties THe V.F.W. entertained the phildren of members with a Christmas party on Wednesday, the twentieth of December. The high school choral group entertained. On Thursday. Dec. 14, the Women's Society pf Christian Service held their Christmas party at the Methodist church. Attending from the Shores were Bee MacCallum, Irene fyfiddlekauff and Louise Winters. On the Sick List Warren Weber of 3208 Still Hill drive has been confined to his home due to illness for several weeks. Hurry and get well, Warren. Glad to hear that,Sara Partain has licked the flu bug. Home for Holidays Robert Hawkins is home with his folks, Mr. and Mr$. Thomas Hawkins, of 3204 Still Hill drive, for the holidays. H«>re and There ^ Terrv and Willis Coates spent Tuesday, Dec. 19, in Chicago visiting Terry's niece and family and her aunt and finally bavins; dinner with her sister. Thev will spend Christmas day with Willis's mother in Oak Park. DAVID WIRTZ, Jr. Services were held at the grave in St. Bede's cemetery, Fox Lake, Tuesday morning for David Wirtz, Jr., six-week-old son of Mr. and Mrs. David Wirtz of Ingleside.
