After the business on hand is taken caro of there will be a home demonstration. Bring your friends and relatives with you. The public is ^ivv ited to attend the demonstri ation. I Work Shop Come one, come all ladies 'you're invited to ' attend the ; work shop, held every Tuesday I at noon at the community • house. It is not a work shop where you will do hard work, you can do the kind of work you enjoy, such as crocheting, tfbiaking pillows, doll clothes, etc. It is interesting to see vvhat the different things the women are working on. Each Woman is willing to help another out on how to make different interesting articles. The work shop is informal and a nice social gathering. Will You Vote? Brownie News The Lilymoor Brownie Troop 267 had a very interesting meeting last Thursday. A was Girl Scout Thinking day and the girls brought different items from different countries and talked and displayed them. In this way they observed the Thinking day all around the world. The four girls that received their world pins were Sharon Neumann, Kathy Fergurson, Susan Johnson and Cynthia Belford. Congratulations girls on receiving your pins. Bp Proud Kids George Knight of Fritzsche Estate was run off of the road by another car. As a result Mr. Knight was stuck. A young boy came along and asked him if he needed help. Before he knew it there were about a dozen young boys from Lilymoor right there to help him out. They were Johnny on the spot. We are all quick to jump the youngsters when they do something a little off color but we very seldom hear of their good deeds such as this. Republican Club to Meet The Recognized Republican Workers Club of Precinct 13 at its meeting last week decided in view of the rapidly increasing number of its group membership and growing activities, to rent the Lakeland Park Community house instead of meeting in individual homes. Bill and Joan Krater and their children. Billy and Diane, had a birthday celebration for Bill's father, Philip Krater, on Saturday, Feb. 24. Mr. Krater lives in Villa Park and was surprised by a visit from Mr. and Mi's. Arthur Schmidt and children, Barb and Patti, who came all the way from Allendale, Mich., to congratulate Mr. Krater. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Krater and children, Philip, Steven and Jimmy, who reside in Mundelein also were there to join in the festivities. Gene Smith had a few guests at her home to help celebrate her birthday. It was on Tuesday, Feb. 27, and she had the party Sunday, Feb. 25. Debbie Leigh celebrated her eighth birthday Saturday, Feb. 24, with a party.
