The ladies all agree that the m^ji are wonderful cooks; and1 the dinner was most enjoyable because the "gals" didn't have to plan, cook or wash the dishes and clean up! * The guest speaker, Rev. After that though they really enjoyed nice, warm weather. Lyda and Bill were visiting with their daughter and sonin- law, Shirley and Charles Lexow, and grandchildren, Paul and Nancy, who are now making their home in Dallas. Both Bill and Lyda enjoyed visiting at the airport and watching the Astro Jets landing and taking off. While in Dallas they also visited Mr. and Mrs. Tom Coyle and family and Mrs. Phillip Whale.y. Also Mr. and Mrs. William Masters at Richardson. And when you have the time ask them about their visit to BIG TOWN at Mesquite, Texas. That was quite something. They also enjoyed their tour of Southern Methodist University where their son. Bill, had gone to school and wa$ also an assistant professor. Bill has quite a few tales to tell; one of his tavorite being about his taking Shirley and Lyda to lunch at a Mexican restaurant. Both girls "chickened out", Shirley ordering roast beef and Lyda shrimp, leaving Bill to uphold the family name by eating Mexican food. Lyda gets by by claiming they were shrimp from the Gulf of Mexico and were therefore Mexican-- but Shirley is at a loss to explain her choice.
