Day Camp will be held in July at the Cooney Heights Woods camp site. Registration will close May 31. Last year's campers numbered 150 happy youngsters. With over-night camping facilities necessarily limited because of the large number of registrants, an attempt is made to fil' that gap with Day Camp. Eligibility requirement is a Girl Scout membership. . It is hoped to have a large group of Scouts and Brownies in the forthcoming Memorial Day parade They will represent all twenty-one Troops of the Neighborhood. Leaders believe Girl Scouting should provide the stimulus of a wider, somewhat different group from that in which a girl spends her school days. As a result of five years of study of the "Needs and Interests of Adolescent Girls" by the University of Michigan Survey Research center, there will be a program, change. A portion of that change concerning troop structure and size will become effective in the fall of this year. Parents of all Girl Scouts v\ill be contacted in late summer.
