Go and ask permission to use the boat. Don't take it upon yourself just to go boating in someone's boat. You can get Into serious trouble over it. Roy Tobey's boat had been taken three different times in the past week. If this happens again there will be charges of theft brought against the party who takes the boat without his permission. It is a lot easier to ask the owner of the boat if you can take a ride in it. They will tell you no or yes. No adult wants to see any kid in trouble with the law. Wedding; On Saturday, June 30, Bob YVijas took as his lovely bride Miss Norene Jastrab of Burton's Bridge. The wedding took place at St. Patrick's church in McHenry. There were over 400 guests who attended the wedding reception held at Club Lilymoor. Congratulations and best wishes go to you Bob and Norene. Harry and Lil Neumann and daughter. Sharon, attended the wedding reception of Harry's cousin, Donald Neumann, Saturday, June 30. The reception was held in Elmhurst. its monthly meeting Monday, July 2. It was decided at this meeting to sell the merchandise what is left at cost to dispose of the articles. The float was also discussed. It was decided not'to enter a float in the parade this year. The monthly prize was won by Marion Leske. Hostesses for the July meeting were Marion Leske, Marylyn Lo- Presti and Ida Legge. The next monthly meeting will be held Monday, Aug 6, at the community house at 8 p.m. Hostesses for the August meeting will be Ann Novak, Katherine Molitor and Lil Neumann. at 385-6144 or this reporter at 385-2645 for details of the trip. If you are planning on joining the ladies give one of us a call so we know that you intend to go. The ladies will meet at the community house (schoolhouse) that Tuesday at 10 a.m. Auxiliary News The Woman's auxiliary held Anniversaries Greetings go to Walter and Josephine Schuerr. They celebrate their forty-third wedding anniversary Tuesday, July 10. Greetings also go to Mr. and Mrs. Emil Novak. They celebrated their anniversary. Wednesday, July 11. Still more greetings go to Mr. and Mrs. Rodde. They will celebrate their twenty-seventh wedding anniversary Tuesday, July 17. To each of you we say congratulations and hope you celebrate many more anniversaries together. Belated Birthday Greetings go to Shelia and Shirley Schuringa. The twins celebrated their four t <e e n t h birthday Sunday, July 1. Trip Planned Several of the women residents are planning a trip to Wisconsin Tuesday, July 17. There were about twenty boys there to help David celebrate his big day. All 'enjoyed a cook-out as well as many games. David received many lovely presents. Get-well Wishes go to Toni Ehredt. Toni has been ill with a very sore back and leg. Hope you are up and around <^by now Tonie. Family Reunion • Mr. and Mrs. John Molitor had a family reunion at their home Saturday, June 30. The reunion was in honor of their son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Dorothy Molitor of California. Charles and Dorothy spent their vacation here visiting with relatives and friends. Spring Grove MAKE PLANS FOR SUMMER FESTIVAL AT ST. Vacation Jake Johnson is spending f o u r t e e n d a y s v a c a t i o n f r o m the steel mills. Guests Several of the homes here in Lilymoor have been buzzing with guests. John and Marie Behrendt entertained sev e r a 1 guests in their home over the period of a week. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roloff of Wisconsin. Their nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wegner, and grandniece, Sandy, of Chicago; Mr. and Mrs. E. Olsen of McHenry, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Brushaber of Lakeland Park. Also Mrs. Mildred Weder of Beverly Hills, Calif., who has been a close friend of John and Marie for over forty y e a r s . M r s . A l m a E n c k , Marie's sister, was also a guest. Eunice Tobey's home was also buzzing with guests. They were Mr. and Mrs. Drawley and daughter of Lakeland Park. On Wednesday Katherine Molitor, Alma Hueckstaedt and Tena Bellino were guests. The ladies enjoyed an afternoon of cards. ish. The affair will be held on July 14, Saturday night and on July 15, all day Sunday. A fried chicken dinner will be served at noon until 3 p.m. The menu is chicken, vegetables, salads, relishes, rolls and homemade pie. At five you may help yourself to a buffet supper. All day there will be amusements, refre s h m e n t s, games and pony rides for the k i d d i e s . E v e r y b o d y i n v i t e d . Nicholas Freund of Gait, Calif., had a week's visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Freund, and is now visiting his sister and family, the Charles Koruses, in Bangor, Maine. The remainder of the summer he will continue his studies in music at Catholic University in Washington, D. C. Ushers Meet Rev. We hope so because that's the day of the McHenry Shores club picnic and we do want you to have a good time. If any good members have not been issued I. Program for the day runs something like this: 1 p.m. -- families are to gather at the beach; 2 o'clock -- games for children; 3 bells -- adult games; hotdogs and hamburgers between 5 and 7; dancing starts at 9 p.m. until? Refreshments will be served during the course of events. Don't forget to bring your own card tables and chairs as the three or four picnic tables at the beach won't accommodate the 300 expected for the turnout. And another thing -- if you want a salad and dessert to go with the burgers and franks -- you'll have to bring them along. To alleviate the congestion of parking, the committee suggests that two or three neighthe ushers met at the home of Charles Freund for their regular meeting last week Wednesday.
