Family Honors Father ' A big party was held at our home Sunday, Sept. 30, to celebrate my father's birthday. Party A family party was held for Chuckie Fritz on Sunday. Attending were his Grandmother Fritzi Aunt and Uncle Bob and Edna and their f6ur children, Uncle and Aunt Ronald and Pat Ttnd their two children. They all enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings. Mishap While Visiting While visiting with their daughter, Jenny, and family in Worth on Sunday the Cammairatas witnessed their grandchild, Chuck, being hit by an automobile. This iittle fellow required fourteen stitches to close the wound on his head. TWe Cammaratas were pretty shook up, and thank God it wasn't more serious. Farewell to Two Families To the Lermon family who have moved to a nearby community and to the Buckley family who are going to make Elgin their new home. Johnsbnrg P.T.A. Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 8 p.m. is the date for the Johnsburg Parents Teachers Association. Let's all try to attend. Helta: Baby Christened Robert Peter Heitz, third son of Anna Marie and Pete, was baptized Sunday at St. John's church. Joining in for th<*- festivities were Grandma Heitz. Mr. and Mrs. V. Palisi and children, Mr: and Mrs. M. Visitors and Visiting Lu and Ernie La Bay visited with Ernie's brother and family in Skokie Saturday night. The Williams family entertained their nephew, Jimmy Williams, over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Winters and family from Genoa City, Wis., were Sunday visitors at the Garner home. Mark. Mary and Richie Fredrick enjoyed an exciting football game Sunday with their Aunt Susie. They saw Marian defeat Notre Dame. Mrs. Ruby Crowley spent Tuesday in Clarendon Hills visiting with daughter. Warning It has been brought to my attention that some of the people living in this village are driving on our roads like they were race tracks. After spending the weekend there, the boys' parents brought them home on Sunday afternoon. Attending the wedding of Sharon Ozog of Lakeland Park to Bruce Melahan of Crystal Lake at the Zion Lutheran church on Saturday were the Parkers. In the evening they joined other relatives at the reception held at' Johnsburg community hall. Dorothy and Russell Parker were pH&sed to find their oldest daughter, Kathi, making an excellent adjustment to a new school*. Kathi in the seventh grade at Johnsburg is doing excellent work, having receivied a promotion besides joining in such activities as the Girl Scouts, chorus, patrol and trying but for cheerleading.
