Dolly Malsch were cohostesses for the shower. Jackie was the recipient of many lovely gifts for her boy or girl-to-be, after which those attending had a delicious lunch. Persons attending were from McHenry, Wonder Lake, Ringwood, Richmond, Chicago, and Woodstock. Also, Kenosha, Wilmot, and Twin Lakes, Wis- House Guest From Mexico Miss Norma Mendoza arrived in Chicago at O'Hare Air Port last Friday from Mexico. She has long been a pen pal of Pat Low. having been met by Mr. and Mrs. Walt Low several years ago on a visit to Mexico. Norma plans on spending several weeks in Ringwood, and looks forward to the snow coming, having only seen snow once before. Miss Mendoga is a very friendly and nice person to visit with and will be seen around Ringwood for awhile, and we do wish her a good time during her stay with the Lows." Report On Nov. 25 the Senior High M.Y.F.ers listened and participated in a discussion entitled "Knowing Right From Wrong" led by the president of the group, Leslie Decker. The Worship Service was also led by Leslie Decker. Refreshments were served by Nancy Kane and Linda Low. There will be no meeting next Sunday. Dec. 2. On Dec. 9. the M.Y.F. will begin their first meeting in Bible Study. The M.Y.F will begin taking orders next Sunday for pine Christmas wreaths. An M.Y. Fer will take your orders after church Sunday. Corky was home from Loyola University. However, their son, Bob, was able to be home in thoughts only. He is in Okinawa serving with the Marine Corps. In his last letter he told the family he is now attending Demolition and Guerrilla Warfare school. Other students who spent Thanksgiving with their families were Gayle Bonder, Ed Steadman and Gene Bolda. Dan Kinnerk was home on leave. He is in < the Navy specializing in aviation. His new station is Memphis, Tenn. Accident* Santa Claus!js reindeer are on the loose. If you don't believe me ask Stan Zabroski. He ran into one of the little fellows on Route 12 near Wauconda. I'm sorry to say it wasn't a very happy meeting for it badly damaged the front end of his car. Jim Becker had an accident on Route 12 last Friday evening. In an attempt to avoid hitting another car that pulled out in front of him, he went off into the culvert. His car rolled several times, during which a passenger in his car was thrown out. Fortunately she sustained only minor injuries. Jim wasn't hurt for which we are all thankful. Anniversary Louisa and Joe Janiszewski celebrated their eighth year of wedded bliss last Saturday. On hand to add to the occasion were Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Eggert and Louisa's sister, Rose Zelenka. To Joe and Louisa go our best wishes for many more happy years together.
