I've had several people in my shop tell me they wouldn't. decorate because as soon as they put their decorations out in the yard someone steals them. It seems a shame that n v.hat is supposed to be a nice respectable community r)eoplo have to be afraid to beautify their yards for Christmas because their decorations will be stolen. We had thirtysix lights stolen from one of our yard decorations last Saturday night. Several friends have reported lights being stolen from their yards. I>ast year ind the year before sneak thieves stole the lights ir.>- - 'he Christmas tree which had been put up by the Scouts and other contest entrant had every light in their yard taken. What kind of people arc they who -- for no reason at all -- willfully destroy decorations neople have gone to great exopnse to set up. To my way of thinking they belong in the same class as thoce who would rob a church poor box.
