Illinois SALES SERVICE urrtcan* By Mike Pitxen Hie biggest news at Marian this week is their entry into the Suburban Catholic League. The league now consists of the following schools: St. Procopius of Lisle, Notre Dame of Niles, Joliet Catholic* Marmion of Aurora, Immaculate Conception of Elmhurst and Saint Edwards of Elgin. Because the schedules have already been made out for next year, Marion will not enter in the schedule until the season of 1964-65. All of the coaches agree that JJiis conference will undoubtedly become one of the toughest in northern Illinois in years to come. Saint Francis of Wheaton is also to ehter the conference in 1964. The Marian debate club will sponsor debates with Boylan on February 23 and with Marengo on February 14, Thursday. Boylan will be represented by 12 debaters and Marengo by 10 in what should be very good debates. The McGraw-Hill publishing company sponsored a mathma tics meeting at Rockford, February 9. Several of the faculty members of Marian attended. At the mathematics tournament at Mundelein, Chi- PRE-MEASUREMENT OF GRAIN FIELDS ALLOWED BY ASCS Farmers in MeHenry county now 4jave an opportunity to re quest pre-measurement of those fields which they expect to include in the 1963 feed grain program, Bert Bridge, chairman of the MeHenry county AS<5 committee, announced recently.
