Scout-O-Rama Our Boy Scout Indian dance team pertonncd at the Scout- O-Rama last Saturday and received a tremendous round ol applause from the 400 people in attendance. As the dancers began, people were milling around but once they heard the beat of the drums and the rythmn of the bells, all eyes were on the stage. The leaders and women involved with each of the teams performances feel "that this has been their best. They have added the Serpentine dance already and it was performed beautifully and we might add on a small stage. The team is now learning the war dance and solo numbers are also being added. Lakeland Park can well be proud of these boys. There are only five boys in the troop who have not joined the dance team and we feel that when they see the color shots and movies they'll join up. This team does not take the place of scouting, It'? an added activity. Our troops parents and community did a wonderful job of participating and this means so much to the boys. A word of praise, a pat on the back or your faces among the audience can mean more than you • can possibly imagine. Any one who entered Crystal Lake high school for this affair couldn't help but see and know that Boy Scout Troop 459 of Lakeland Park was there because Mr. Mrotz has the beautiful sign on his truck, and a local firm's and Ed Druml's fine painting were visible to everyone. We are proud of our Scouts and their dance team and we want everyone to know we are. March 20. This little tyke weighed in at 8 lbs., and is 21 inches long. Through it all, the people who had the will to save consistently have always come put ahead. The people who saved part of every pay check, in good times or bad; in times of war and times of peace, h-ad every advantage. They had a steadily increasing savings account for any probable emergency or for a business opportunity. They had money when needed for the down payment on a home, for education, for a new car, <a television set, new appliances or other wonders of the 20th century. Why not take a leaf out of the book of experience? In good or bad times. SAVE REGULARLY; SAVE ALL YOU CAN.
