If "ol' sol" will co-operate with a bright warm day on Saturday, the beach should resemble a real Kindergarten (children's garden)! Happy hunting, small fry. Survives Two Story Plunge!! Fortunate to escape with his life, Conrad Gustafson is a patient at Lake Forest hospital with bruises about the shoulder, head, knee and a broken rib. He was working on a new residence in Lake Forest last Friday following his job line of painting. While working on the exterior of the second floor, he used an open sash for support when the entire sash came away from the building and it is suspected that he plunged head .first down the ladder. At the time of the accident, he was working alone although other construction members were near by- One of the caN penters happened along and saw Conny sitting on the ground. There is no estimate ot the time which elapsed from the time he fell and was discovered moaning. The carpenter summoned assistance from Conny's co-workers and he was rushed to Lake Forest hospital where he is recovering nicely Fortunately also, he sustained no internal injuries. (Reporter's comment: These Scandinavians are hardy souls)! His address is Room 1950, Lako Forest Hospital, Lake Fores (, 111. We're sure he would enjoy a cheery message from all well wishes. More Hospital Patients Willard Schultz and Johnny Granath are keeping each other company in McHenry hospital. Will v/as admitted on Friday with John entering last Saturday. Will suffered two bouts of pneumonia in about 9 months and complications developed for which he is being treated. Hope his illness is of not too long duration. This has been a rough year for him. John is suffering from an infection and we hope his hospital stay will be a short one. How about dropping these fine fellows a line also? other p.m. from Pete Therien of Sun Valley, Calif. He and Jake have been friends since the "year one" and we were neighbors when we lived in Califdi-nia m 1949. This is the unusual twist -- Pete dialed direct and connected with the Lee Sawdo family! We are most grateful that Lee (good friend that he is) was able to give Pete the correct number. He called to congratulate Jake on his recent appointment to the state treasurer's staff. It seems tljat the news apjieared in Pete's home town paper! How about that? No, I did not tio them off! Runs In The Family ? Earl Murray seems doomed to visiting his children in the hospital following motorcycle accidents. Last summer, daughter Kathy was involved in one and was hospitalized in Kenosha. This year, Mickey and Earl's son, Terry, a student at Bradley University, Peoria, was a patient in Methodist hospital, Peoria, following a wild ride on one of those "lethal" jobs. He suffered a mild concussion and had stitches on the knee. These two could compare notes on "what not to do-while riding a motorcycle."
