Around The Shores Easter brought some beautiful weather with it this year and as a result many Shores homes were filled with company over the weekend. Terry Wetzel and some of his college cronies had themselves a grand time spending their Easter vacation in New Orleans. Doris and Fred had a more quiet holiday visiting Fred's brother and his wife in Palatine. Mrs. Burgstaller took a trip to Milwaukee to see her daughter over Easter. The Denigen household was filled to capacity over Easter when the two daughters and their families came to visit. Mrs. J. Landeen was there with her three children from LaGrange and Mrs. Earl Keegan with her four children and brand new baby from Elk Grove. The Calverts spent the holiday with Joyce's mother, Mrs. McClanahan, and the Vilim family went to Island Lake in the morning to see Dottie's cousin Emil and Shirley Gustafson and came back to the Shores in the afternoon to spend some time with the Jacek family. By the looks of things everyone had a happy Easter. Last Sunday was a big day in the Harper home, son, Bob, was being baptized and the whole family turned out for this important event. Baptism services took place in Faith Presbyterian church. Afterwards a picnic supper was enjoyed by everyone.
