(L*apilof Report By this time, many of our 12th Congressional district voters have received questionnaires from their member of Congress. With only a portion of the "opinion seekers" mailed out, thousands of answered questionnaires have been returned already to the writer's Washington office. Federal spending, Cuba, Agriculture, Foreign Aid, Civil Rights, and other listed issues appear to be of particular inday we honor our dead. Can't you spare a few minutes by hanging out your flag in their honor. Also, we'd like to remind you people who attend the parade. Men take off those hats, people sit tins?, can't you manage to stand as your flag passes. terest to the citizens of Lake, McHenry and Boone counties. This is indicated by the numerous additional comments written in on the returns. And, strikingly significant are the many personal letters citizens have been encouraged to write, commending the questionnaire but offering their views on other national issues. A sampling of the answers seems to indicate a similarity in points of view between the respondents and their Conessman. This affords him a ;asant sense of "being on he beam" and truly representing you. Many more questionnaires will be delivered in the 12th Congressional district in the next few days. A small percentage of the outgoing mail comes back from the post office marked "Moved - Left No Address," "Insufficient Address," "No Such Street," and Not Known." Anyone not receiving a questionnaire should notify the writer immediately. Or if you want additional copies, address your request to "Robert McClory, M.C., House Office Building, Washington 25, D.C." If you perfer to get in touch with the writer's district offices, in Waukegan the telephone number is ONtario 2- 0921; and in Belvidere the telephone number is Lincoln 4- 3959. In writing to your Congressman, be sure your return address accompanies your signature. To receive an answer to your mail, your address must always bgv_on the letter, as well as on the envelope. This is especially necessary if you want to receive the results of the questionnaire tabulation. Not only is it important to know "Where do you stand" but "Where do you live?" You've a Very Important Person to your Congressman, you know! MILK PRICES Dairy farmers who shipped milk to Chicago Order 30 handlers in April will be paid a minimum of $3.62 per cwt. on base milk, with a 19-cent superpool included, and $3.03 per cwt. on excess milk, Harry L. Edwards, director of marketing for Pure Milk association, has reported. Most producers for the Chicago market will receive an additional 10-cent premium over the announced 19-cent superpool price on base milk because they deliever to plants which consistently utilize at least 40 percent of producers' base milk for fluid milk and cream sales. BE WISE USE THE CLASSIFIED Flags! As we drove through the subdivision last Saturday we noticed very few flags being flown. It was Armed Forces day.
