The program will begin at 7:45 at St. John's Lutheran church in Island Lake, and will feature the Chain of Lakes German Shepherd Dog Training Club. Since there will be three dogs present, the demonstration of ol)edience will be held on the lawn behind the church. Authorities say that dogs of any age and breed can be taught obedience. If you have a dog, I'm sure the program will be very enlightening, if not, maybe you can get some pointers to pass on to your neighbors. In any event, the program should prove to be very interesting. In case of rain that evening, the program will have to be cancelled out, and games will be played. Keep a white elepthe company of other little visitors. A Safe And Happy 4th Time moves so fast when you're having fun, that it hardly seems possible that the second summer holiday is already here. Tomorrow is the Fourth and this usually means an abundance of guests in the 13 area. Please caution them all to be very careful -- those of you who will be going away, drive ever so carefully, so that you get back safely, and all at you h$ve a good tirr\e. Just a thought -- Isn't it nice to live in a country where you can celebrate Independence Day and enjoy the freedom we so often take for granted? Ambition seems to be the root of most progress -- and most wrongdoing, also. Rummage Sale July 5 -- 9 a.m. to 1 pjn. July 4 -- 9 a.m. to 11 cun. Sponsored by ST. Look mio the Bible and see these great truths: MAN IS THE CHILD OF A LOVING GOD; WE ARE MADE IN GOD'S IMAGE. Here is explained the DIGNITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL.
