Resch of Chicago, Saturday, June 29, at St. Mazy's Catholic church, McHenry. LOCAL COUPLE MARRIED FIFTY YEARS JULY 10 Mr. and Mrs. William Jordan, 1206 N. River Road observed the golden anniversary of their wedding, July 10, with a dinner for their family at a restaurant in Hinsdale. Lilah Peterson, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Peterson of McHenry, became the bride of William Jordan July 10, 1913 in Chicago. For the past 4 years they have made their home in McHenry. Mr. Jordan is retired as manager of Grogan Coal Company in Chicago and is a substitute school bus driver. Mrs. Jordan is very active in the Pink Lady Sewing Guild of the auxiliary to the McHenry hospital. The Jordans have two sons, William E. of Downers Grove, and Richard M. of Oak Lawn; three grandchildren, Jill Ann Morris and Rickey and Gary Jordan. They also have a great granddaughter, Kimberly Ann Morris. Both Mr. and Mrs. Jordan are in excellent health and are now enjoying a two weeks vacation up north. LOCAL TEACHERS MARRIED AT MASS CRYSTAL LAKE A lovely summer wedding was solemnized Saturday, July 6. at St. Thomas Catholic church, Crystal Lake, uniting in marriage Miss Rose C. Parsley, daughter of William F. Parsley of Crystal Lake, and Mr. Donato M. Suffoletto, aan of Mr. and Mrs. Donato Suffoletto of Woodstock, R, 1. Rev. Fr. Eipers officiated at the 11 o'clock nuptial Mass tor which Eari Conway of McHenry sang. For her wedding Miss Parsley wore a gown fashioned of ipoiled silk peau and trimfed with bands and medallions uI. re-embroidered aiencon laoe. The fitted bodice was finished at the rounded neckline with the lace sprinkled with tiny seed pearls. The same pearl trimmed law was used at the waistline, and a large pattern of the lace across the front of the skirt. Her sleeves were elbow length and the skirt was held and controlled fullness in front, then released into deep pleats across the hipline to a full chapel train. Her three tier fingertip veil of imported silk illusion was attached to a headpiece of lace encrusted with seed pearls and iridescent sequins. The bride's bouquet was white roses, stephanotis and ivy in cascade arrangement. Mrs. William D. Parsley of East Lansing, Mich., was matron of honor. Miss Rita Herrmann of Denver, Colo., and Miss Judy Suffoletto, of Woonsocket, R, 1., asted as bridesmaids. They were attired in white organza over taffeta. Their dresses were fashioned with fitted bodice and skirts of controlled fullness draped to the left side and caught up with a cabbage rose. They wore matching hats of white fashioned with a small rose and rose petals. They carried cascades of red roses. Attending the groom as best man was Thomas Pendergast of Chicago. The groomsmen were Thomas Parsley of Crystal Lake and James Warren of Wonder Lake. For her son's wedding Mrs. Suffoletto wore a gown of blue lace with white accessories and had a white orchid corsage. Following the nuptial Mass a reception was held for 200 at the McHenry Country club. After a honeymoon in Florida and the east coast the happy couple will reside in Marian Parkway, Crystal Lake. Both the bride and groom are teachers in McHenry junior high school. Miss Parsley is a graduate of St. Mary's college, Notre Dame, Ind., and her new husband was graduated from Providence college, Providence, R. I. SMITH TAKES BRIDE IN CHURCH CEREMONY In a beautiful wedding ceremony performed at St. Peter's Catholic church, Spring Grove, Saturday, July 6, Miss Beverly Jo Hildinger became the bride of Mr. David Anthony Smith. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hildinger of Beck road, Lindenhurst, and Mr. Smith is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Smith of Spring Grove. Mixed flowers were used on the altar where Rev. Edward J. Lehman performed the lite. Special music was furnished by James Huff accompanied by Joanne Huff, both of North Chicago. The bride was lovely in a goWn of silk organza and lace, basque bodice with long tapered sleeves and demurely rounded neckline. Lace panels featured the front of the circular skirt which fell into a chapel length train. "She wore a lace and seed pearl crown which held her illusion fingertip veil. The bridal bouquet was made of white carnations and yellow tea roses. They wore matching flower headpieces with blusher veils and shoes to match. • The flower girl's dress was fashioned of yellow nylon over taffeta, trimmed with lace and self material roses, full skirt and wide sash. She wore a matching headpiece. The attendants carried bouquets of yellow and white carnations and the flower girl carried a basket of rose petals. > Attending the groom were Francis Kattner, a friend, of McHenry, Ronald Hildinger of Round Lake, brother of bride, and Thomas Andrews of Round Lake, friend and fraternity brother of the groom. For her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Hildinger wore a sea foam green sheath of silk, with shoes to match and white accessories.
