The board of directors are seated, Eleanor Moore, Tony Kurowskj and Joyte Toepper. The association was formed in the summer of 1959, two years after the first subdivision homes were built. The first president was Roy Erickson, 1059-60; followed by Don Zamastil, 1960-61; Len Toepper, 1961-62; and Ron Wiggerman, 1962-63. Among its projects in the past four years inclulded setting up of the by-laws, grading and graveling of the 4 miles of roads, ditching, improving beach facilities, extensive grading and blacktopping of May avenue, speed and street signs, including an entrance sign, and the most important of all, removal of the snow from the roads. To finance these projects the association, along with he Pistakee Terrace Women's auxiliary, held various fund raising affairs including an annual spring dance. Families Visit The Ozarks The Ron Wiggerman family, a c c o m p a n i e d b y M a r i l y n ' s mother, Irene Kolan, Pistakee Highlands, spent one week at the Pleasure Point lodge near Bagnell dam in the Lake of the Ozarks. Points of interest included visiting caves, the water ski show and the county fair before their return on Saturday. Also vacationing at the Lake of the Ozarks was the George Perrewe family. The Perrewes camped at Lake Park, outside of Camdenpon, Mo., for a little more than a week, also visiting the caves, the dam and enjoying the Ozarks Opera, a nightly performance presented by local talent, many of whom gc on up the ladder to the Grand Ole Opera. The day before the family was to leave, a main bearing went out on the car, forcing them to lengthen their stay an extra two days. They arrived home on Tuesday with no further trouble sons, Salem, Wis., and Joyce's two nephews, A1 and Jim Lyons, Clinton, Wis. Celebrating Dolores Kurowski's third birthday on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hayes and family and Veronica Soraparu and children. Mitch, Bonnie an dthe Sabaj boys spent Sunday at the home of Chicago home of Rosie and Ray Shonefeld. The Don Zamastil family visited Barb's aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Chuck Zonker, Kendallville, Ind., on Sunday. Enjoying a week's stay at the Anthony Kurowski home is Clara's nephew, 10-year-old Jeffery Hayes, Chicago. Sick List It would seem that the re* cent changes in this weather have caught many in the Terrace with sore throats and head colds, with the Toepper family no exception. Also down with temperature and an eye infection is Lori Parker. The three Parker girls, Kathi, Barb and Lori, along with Laura and Carter Gregg attended thf Mt. Jiope Methqdist Vacation school the past two weeks. Visiting at the Frank Moller home for a week was their son, Donovan, and family from Hinsdale. During the visit they spent Wednesday at the Wisconsin Dells. Enjoying a barbecue supper on Saturday at the Wild wood home of John Andreas was the Russell Parker family. Lunching at Lake Geneva on Thursday were Mrs. Cohrs, Pistakee Highlands, Mrs. Durrenburg, Jake-Ana Heights, Mrs. Baureis, McHenry, and Anna Moller of the Terrace. Visiting at the Deppmeier home for two weeks this summer was Birdie's brother, Ron Walters, from St. Judes rectory, South Carolina. The weekend found the Tom Merhauts busy as Ron Lamberg arrived on Friday for the entire weekend. They spent Saturday boating with Rich and Betty Burns, Chicago, and the Paul Fedorchaks, as well as the Fedorchak house guest, Nancy Daugird, Wheaton. Coming on Saturday evening for the rest of the weekend were the senior Merhauts and Joe Fiala, Chicago, who were also entertained on Sunday with a boat ride. Completing Ron's vacation, the Wiggerman family spent Monday in Chicago visiting the Natural History Museum and the aquarium. With the boys staying with Grandmother Kolan on Thursday, Ron and Marilyn enjoyed a day downtown in Chicago with dinner and a play in the evening.
