Miss Joan Adams is home from Loyola university to spend the mid-semester vacation With her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfons Adams. Mrs. Mary Kauss and children left for their home in Mexico City, Wednesday of last week, after a three weeks visit with relatives -here. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Adams of- Park Falls, Wis., .former local residents who have been visiting relatives here the past few weeks, left Sunday to spend sometime in the home of their son, Carl, in Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Freida Bienapfl of Skokie spent Thursday with McHenry friends. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson returned Friday from a three weeks, vacation in California where they visited her mother, Mrs. Betty Nielsen, at Seal Beach*. Mr. and Mrs. George Kinsala of Chicago visited relatives here Sunday. Mrs. Elvera Durland and Mrs. Faith Risley, who have been residing at 3211 Golf View, left Wednesday via motor for Xeisure World, Seal Beach, Calif., where they plan to make home. Mrs. James Cornue and daughter, Pam, of Hebron, were Sunday Visitors in the home of her mother, Mrs. Agneis Wissell, who accompanied them to Crystal Lake where they were guests in the Richard Wissell home. Supper and evening guests of Mrs. Wissell were her brother, Leon Mathews, wife and daughter, Sara Jo, of Lake Geneva, Wis. Leo Sales cf McCullom Lake, Joseph Adams, Frank Freund, Walter Smith and Martin Weber of Johnsburg, Alfons (Duke) Adams, Fred Bienapfl, Leslie Olsen, Sr., and Joseph Weber were among the twentyfive members of the Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local 2087, honored at a 6:30 dinner held at Crystal Lake Saturday evening, Jan. 18. They were presented with twenty-five year pins and their ladies were given corsages. Sunday guests in the William Jordan home were their son, William, wife and son, Gary, of Downers Grove and Mr. and Mrs. Carter Givens of Elgin. Mr. and Mrs. George E. Johnson and children of Arlington Heights were Sunday visitors in the George H. Johnson home. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stoffel of Milwaukee, Wis., visited McHenry relatives Sunday. Mrs. Carl Hiatt and daughter, Jean, of Waukegan, were visitors in the Bob Bacon home Saturday. Mrs. Robert Green is spending a few weeks in the home of her son, Dan, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Miss Jane Nye of Marquette University is spending the semester vacation, with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. William Nye. Marjory Jung, Carol Young and Mrs. Joan Albrecht have returned from a 2 weeks plane trip to- Fort Lauderdale, Fla. While there they also enjoyed a 5 day cruise to Nassau and spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Tom Keenan in Lakeland, Fla.
