The day for all the quiet at home is almost here, so bear with it! It also means we must be on guard for the bikes on the roads once again. Attend Smith Family Reunion. Sr. Hi M.Y.F. Report Our bike hike last Wednesday was changed from Chain- O-Lakes to Crystal Lake. There were ten of us who went on the lOVi mile hike. We were all rather tired when we got there. Sunday night we had our "Hawaiian Progressive Dinner" which turned out just wonderful. First we all met at the church, in our Hawaiian outfits for appetizers. Next we went to Fossums where we enjoyed a wonderful salad. Then we proceeded to Bakers' patio for the main course and dessert. The main course consisted of chicken "Hawaiian style", potato salad and cole slaw. The dessert was a hollowed out watermelon with scalloped edges filled with all kinds of delicious fresh fruits. Not only was it good, but made such a pretty picture on the table. For our drink, we had coconut milk. The patio was decorated with a fish net, sand on the floor, a small pool filled with water by a sprinkler and real live fish in it. We ate off of a very low table. All during the dinner we had Hawaiian music that was very fitting for the occasion. Later on everyohe joined in catching the fi&h in the pool to be put back where they belonged. Next Sunday night there will be a joint M.Y.F. meeting. We will all meet at the church at 5 p.m. Then go to Berryland where we will enjoy a picnic, a guest speaker and a swim.
