Stevenson III, Democratic candidate at-large for the Illinois Legislature, leveled his campaign guns at Charles H. Percy, the GOP gubernatorial candidate, in a speech last Wednesday, Aug. 12, at a McHenry county Democratic rally in the Marengo VFW hall. More than 300 people heard Richard Zukowski, Democratic candidate for State's Attorney, and Mr. Stevenson. Mr. Stevenson applauded the accomplishments of the Kerner administration and criticized Percy for lack of courage displayed at the Republican convention. "The domination of McHenry county citizens' affairs by one party," explained Mr. Zukow- Ski, "was one of the principal factors in promoting my candid dacy. This domination shall be ended in November." Present at the rally were Judge Philip Yaeger, Democratic candidate for Circuit Court Judge of the 19th Judicial Circuit; Harold McKenney, chairman of the Democratic Central committee; John Clark Kimball, Democratic candidate for Congress from the 12th Congressional district; Thomas Hanahan and William Giblin, candidates for the state Legislature, and Theodore Graham, Democratic candidate for state Senate. Also included in the list of guests were Ronald Morris, mayor of Harvard, and George Schmidt, mayor of Union. (iOP PLATFORM HEARINGS Hearings of the Republican platform committee are continuing through this week and next. Senator Robert Coulson (R) of Waukegan is this district's only member of the platform commit toe and this week Coulson invited persons with any suggestions or proposals they would like to see included in the platform to communicate their desires to him. "I'll see to it that their ideas are presented to the committee", said Coulson. "We should be in good shape to present a platform for the Republican state convention at its adjourned meeting, probably in September." PLATFORM REQUESTS William J.
