Stilling, a lifelong resident of the McHenry area, died Sunday, Oct. 11, at the Villa Nursing Home, where he had resided for the past two years. Mr. Stilling was born in Johnsburg Aug. 21, 1885, and made his home at 3503 W. Washington street. Before retirement, he farmed in this area. Survivors are his wife, Christina Meyer Stilling; three daughters, Mrs. Rita (Roy) White and Mrs. Violet Rich of McHenry and Mrs. Carol Ann (Terry) Thompson of Woodstock; three sons, Elmer of Jefferson, Wis., James of McHenry and Daniel of Sacramento, Calif.; fifteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Anna (John) Brown of Wauconda, Mrs. Frances (Peter) Miller of McHenry and Mrs. Fred (Tillie) Freund of Johns- Wed. Justen & Son funeral home until 10 o'clock Wednesday morning, when a funeral Mass, was sung at St. Patrick's Catholic church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mr. Stilling was a member of St. John's Catholic Order of Foresters. CHRISTIAN C. BUEHLER, III Christian Carl Buehler, III, a former summer resident of Pistakee Bay died Friday, Oct. 9, in St. Luke's Presbyterian hospital, Chicago, at the age of 57. Mr. Buehler, a member of the well known family that lived in this area for many years, was president of Christian Buehler, Inc., an insurance firm at 135 S. LaSalle street, Chicago. He was former secretary-treasurer of the Victor Adding Machine Co., and past president of Buehler Bros. Packers. Survivors are his widow, Helen; two daughters, Mrs. Arine Baker and Mrs. Lyn Pattersoh; a son, Christian Carl Buehler IV; eight grandchildren; and three brothers, Albert, Herman and Robert. A memorial fund has been established at St. Luke's hospital for the Kidney Research Foundation. Private services for Mr Buehler were held Saturday in St. Paul's Evangelical Reformed church, Evanston. ANNA LAY Mrs. Anna Lay of 3708 Middle avenue, Johnsburg, died Tuesday- evening, Oct. 13, at the Villa Nursing Home, where she had resided for the pasi two and one-half years. She was 83 years of age. Mrs. Lay was born Aug. 24, 1881, in Johnsburg, daughter of Stephen F» and Catherine Schmitt. She leaves one son, Leo, of Barrington; four sisters, Mary K. Green Street Schmitt, of Johnsburg. Her -husband, Math, died in 1958 after the couple had celebrated uieir fifty-seventh wedding anniversary. She was also preceded in death by two brothers. The deceased was a member of St. Agatha's court, Women's Catholic Order of Foresters, and the Christian Mothers sodality. The body will rest at the George R. Justen & Son funeral home after 7 p.m. Thursday. A funeral Mass will be sung at 10 o'clock Saturday morning in St. John's church, Johnsburg, with burial in the church cemetery. SHARON KOSUP Sharon Lynn Kosup, who resided recently in Lakemoor, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, in Condell Memorial hospital, Libertyville. She was 21 years old. Mrs. Kosup was born Dec. 19, 1943, in Homewood, daughter of Charles and Mildred Ehlebracht. She was married to Dennis Richarri Kosup on March 9, 1962, arin lived in Ingleside until very recently, whr>n they moved to Lakemoor. Besides her husband, she leaves a five-month-old son, Dennis Scott; her parents, four brothers and three sisters. The body will rest at the Cordt-Ryan funeral home in Homewood, where private services will be held Friday. Visitation there is after 7 p.m. Wednesday. A. F. LOSCHIAVO Funeral services were held Friday afternoon from the Kiersch funeral home in Chicago for Augustine Frank Loschiavo, 83, of 1317 Midway drive, Island Lake, who died Oct. 6 in a Lake Zurich nursing home. Death followed a long illness. The deceased was born July 2, 1881, in Rome, Italy. McHenry Hospital Auxiliary Newt The totatl number of hours volunteered by members of the woman's auxiliary to McHenry hospital during the past year, beginning Oct. 1, 1963, and ending Sept. 30, 1964, were 4,334.
