MCHENRY SHORES BERNICE WILSON 885-4880 most elaborate decorations in the area. So far I haven't had a chance to ride around to see all the homes but 1 hear they are most beautiful this year; Decorations Our community has been one of Christmas beauty for the holiday season. People really wont all out to make our community one to be proud of but as usual there had to be some mars on the occasion. How do you suppose people who have just become residents feel when they put their all into making their home cheerful and they find that all the lights on their outside trees have been removed. It has happened over and over and hardly seems the way for neighbors to act. It not only happens to new residents but to the old timers as well. It's a real shame that everyone can't leave their hands off of things in other yards and homes. We all want our subdivision to be the best but how can it be when there must be things such as this to mar it. Vandalism is the reason the Scout units have no longer put up a tree. Things like this just seem to be a real shame and we hope they come to an end. Let's try to help out. and keep our subdivision residents wanting to make the place a thing of friendly neighbors instead of destruction. SSAC CLUB HOLDS SUCCESSFUL PARTY FOR CHILDREN Last Saturday evening the members of the SAC club and their families gathered at the Lakeland Park hall for the anhual Christmas party. A special vote of appreciation to Don and Bernice Musieiak who did all the shopping for this affair and to the nice chubby Santa who took time out of his busy schedule to stop by with the gifts for all the good boys and girls in the Shores. These pleasant surprises helped to make it a happier Christmas to the lucky winners. Meanest Person In the World? At this time of the year when we should all have kind thoughts in our hearts some person or persons cut the wires of the Marshall Jacobs outside decorations in two places, making it necessary for them to go out and replace them before the judging took place. It is hard to figure what pleasure anyone could get out of such a mean thing but evidently some one did. In spite of all the unexpected work the Jacobs won the award for the FEEDERS BANQUET McHenry County Livestock Feeders will hold their annual meeting and banquet Thursday, Jan. 28, at 7 p.m. in the VFW hall, Woodstock.
