Girl Scouts, Troop 320 On April 13, our meeting was held Tuesday afternoon at Mrs. Johnson's house. We colored eggs and made Easter baskets. We talked about ways we could help the people who were in the tornado on Sunday. We also talked about the Father and Daughter Banquet which is to be on the 21st. The Cadettes who have been coming to our meeting to earn their game badge came for the last time. We gave each a pair of gloves. It's been fun learning new games and we will miss them. To each of you, may you have nothing but the very best. Two New Young Ladies Arrive Our subdivision has been blessed during the past week with the arrival of two very lovely young ladies. Arlene and Frank Bartos became the very proud parents of Jill Marie on April 15th somewhere around 11 a.m. at Woodstock hospital. Little Jill weighed in at 6 lbs., % oz. and a petite 19 inches long. Jill will be well, protected not only by her parents but by her two very proud big brothers, Mark and Greg. May the Infant Jesus watch over and protect all the Bartos family. Sharon and Ray Fisher also were blessed with their fir§t daughter on April 17. We do not have any of the particulars but we do know that little Susan Lynn will also be well cared' for because she also has two brothers named Ronnie and Ripkie, We know the Good Lord will also protect and watch over the Fisher family who reside on Sunset avenue. Four In A Row For Ketehums Carol and Morrie Ketchum became the proud parents of their fourth son. Their fourth son was born at McHenry hospital on April 19 at 11:26 a.m. and weighed in at a nice 7 lbs., 12 ozs. We know the name Carol had talked about if it turned out she had her fourth son put people do change their minds so we'll wait until we can talk to her to make sure. We're real glad and happy for the Ketchum family which includes three brothers, Mike, Mark and Matthew, besides mom and dad to help care for and protect the youngest Ketchum. May God bless you all with continued health and happiness. Sympathy The deepest sympathy of the subdivision is extended to the family of the late Matthew Oik. The Department of Revenue of the state has written to the city of McHenry in explanation of tax collection variations which may occur in connection with the Municipal Tax. One reason given is that some taxpayers file returns on a quarterly basis, and the month in which the quarterly return is filed the tax will be higher. Also, some taxpayers file returns monthly but tax paid cannot be compared with the preceding month because of seasonal business. The third reason is that some taxpayers file returns on an annual basis, so tax will be included in city collections for the month of January only.
