Another "Ring Around The Finger" Romance continues to be in the air as the engagement of Sherry Oeffling was announced by her father, Lloyd Oeffling. Her finance is Robert Steadman of Spring Grove. We wish to congratulate the young couple and hope all their plans for the future come true. Death Shocks All Not very often do I find articles hard to write about, but this time it is almost an impossibility. The recent untimely death of young Ellen Hovseth of f>istakee Highlands has everyone completely choked up. There are no words for any of us to relay to her parents, that will soothe their tragic emptiness at this time. We must remember though, that each one of us is put on this earth for a specific purpose. Evidently "Dolly" (as she is known by her many friends), fulfilled hers in nine short years. "Dolly" who was a fourth grader in St. John's school, wes laid to rest in the church cemetery following the Mass in St. John's church. Flowers Anyone? We're not trying to get rid of any, but sending out a call for as many as possible. The Johnsburg public school would like to be dressed up with live flowers for graduation on June 8. If you have some flowers in your garden you would be willing to donate, please bring them to the school Tuesday morning, June; 8. between 8 and 8:30. Perhaps you have no way to get them to the school. Well, there is also a solution for that. Marge Peterson has graciously offered her services in picking up the flowers. Please contact her at 385-5973 on or before Monday June 7. Any flowers will IK? appreciated. They have taken up residence on Spring Grove Road in the house formerly occupied by Dick and Dorothy Hiller. .We hope both these young families will be very happy in their surroundings andi will r£-^3> main with us for a long, long time.
