The turkey dinner with the trimmings, will be served from 5 p.m. on, until approximately 7:30 p.m. Bring the entire family. Community Club Meeting Keep the date of Nov. 23 open on your calendar. The community club will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday evening instead of Monday just for this month. * ' « Jim Pearson, local resident, has said he will show his slides taken on his trip to Europe at that time. Jim has shown them to other groups, and from the reports, they are really worth Coming to see. Let's have one of the best turnouts at this special meeting. O.K.? More details and reminders will appear next week. Card Club Meets Last Wednesday afternoon, the Card Club met at the home of Illrs. Bertha Peet in Richmond. High for the day was Mrs. Ruby Shepard, with Miss Mi«e Wiedrich taking low. Hospital Notes We have a couple of local people hospitalized, so how about sending them a card to help pass the time? Axel Carlson is a patient in the Memorial hospital in Woodstock, and should be home by printing time, but would appreciate getting a card. Harold Bell is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday (the 9th), at Sherman hospital in Elgin, jand will be remaining there for a week or so after surgery. Also a1 patient in Sherman hospital at Elgin is Jackie Aissen, who sufered a stroke last week. Jackie is in room 373, and would certainly appreciate hearing from the folks in Ringwood. Hot Lunclf Servers The hot dogs and barbecues have been going over very good at the school. It seems as though the youngsters can't wait until Wednesday for the hot lunch day. Dr. Weiss Passes Away I'm sure his many many friends in Ringwood will miss the warm and friendly smile of Dr. Sidney Weiss, who passed away in Memorial hospital for McHenry county on Friday. Dr. and Mrs. Weiss resided in the Wonder Lake area for the past ten years. The folks in Ringwood extend their deepest sympathy to Mrs. Weiss and other relatives. Nellis-Bell Wedding . Sheryl Kay Nellis became the bride of Harold Bell, Jr., on Monday, in St. Patrick's church. Sincere congratulations is extended to the young couple, who are residing in McHenry. Harold, Jr., is stationed at Fort Knox, Ky., awaiting further orders. Here 'N' There Mr. and Mrs. Weldon Andreas and daughter, Margo, helped his mother, Mrs. Mingle Andreas, celebrate her eightieth birthday on Saturday by taking her out to dinner in Marengo. Mrs. Andreas is still very active for her 80 young years. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Whiting of Richmond celebrated their sixty- second anniversary on Nov. 4. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kunz enjoyed a Sunday dinner in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kunz and family at Lakemoor. Mrs. Joe Schmitt (my mom) of McHenry spent Friday evening visiting in the Bob Brennan home. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Page of McHenry were supper guests of Mrs. Ruby Shepard on Saturday. Miss Patsy Wiedrich of Burlington spent the past week with her Grandmother, Mrs. Fred Wiedrich. Sr. Mrs. Nellie Hepburn spent Sunday visiting her sister in Kenosha. MOTOR VEHICLE REGISTRATION ON RISE DURING '65 Motor vehicle registration for the first three-quarters of 1965 was 117,570 greater than for the entire year of 1964, and was 200,544 more than on Sept. 30 a year ago, Secretary of State Paul Powell has reported.
