As the doctor's presenoa Is helpful in time of illness, so too fs the funeral director's presence reassuring and helpful in this hour of grief. Weiss memorial fund has been announced by the Wonder Lake advisory board. Dr. Weiss, former chairman of the advisory board and for many years an oficer of Hickory Falls Subdivision No. 1 and 2, died last Friday. He was serving as vice-chairman of the advisory board this year. Dr. Raymond H. Watkins, pointed out that Dr. Weiss chairman of the advisory board, contributed many years of service on various marine committee activities that benefitted the entire lake. He had worked diligently on the project to rid the lake of rough fish to improve game fishing, and had headed special committees to investigate sources of water pollution. *Dr. Weiss was outspoken on matters of water condition and was instrumental in bringing about remedial action when violations were detected. Delegates attending a special meeting of the advisory board on Sunday started the memorial fund by making personal contributions. Residents of Hickory Falls are participating in the memorial fund. Dr. Weiss had served the subdivision in many as park and road commissioner, capacities, until two years ago Dr. Watkins suggested that Wonder Lake residents, who want to participate in the fund as a tribute to Dr. Weiss community services, make contributions through any subdivision delegate to the advisory board, or mail contributions to Mrs. Marian Carder, Box 72, Wonder Lake post office, or to Walter G. Walizer, 5604 Sylvan drive, Hickory Falls, Wonder Lake. Checks should be made out to The Wonder Lake Advisory Board, Sidney Weiss Memorial Fund. Question 7, a timely and tension-packed motion picture of conscience under test in East Germany, will be seen in a special showing on Nov. 21 at Nativity Lutheran church, Wonder Lake. The title, "Question 7," refers to a questionnaire that children in East German public schools are forced to , answer before they can continue with advanced studies. Only those whose answeis are politically reliable are chosen. Thus the questionnaire becomes a supreme test for a bov who is forced to choose between what is easy and expedient and what is right and honorable. Ideal combination for skiing is lots of white snow, and lots of Blue Cross. The incidents depicted in "Question 7" are true. They are based on interviews with thousands of refugees who have fled to West Germany and hundreds more still remaining behind in East Germany. It is a motion picture which has won twenty-two ma 1 jor awards and has been select ed "best film of the year" by the National Board of Review. The National Legion of Decency has strongly recommended it to every moviegoer. V SPECIALS On Sale Thurs. thru Sunir Nov. 11-14 SOLD ONLY AT . . . Millstream Drugs (WALGREEN AGENCY) 3720 W.
