Riverside drive, McHenry Shores. Plans will be finalized for the annual Christmas pot-luck luncheon and gifts for the old folks homes in the McHenry area. On Nov. 5, a group of club members met for lunch and went on to the Woodstock Opera House, where the Crystal Lake Garden clubs sponsored a program by Mrs. Kmil Wal- Tradition". followed by a tea. kcr. The celebration will be held at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Jerry Strackbein, and husband at 1617 Lake Shore drive, Lake Geneva. Assisting as hosts and hostesses will be other family members. Birthday Dinner For Miss Mary K. Schmitt Mr. and Mrs. Robert Green were hosts Monday evening at a dinner party honoring the eighty - sixth • birthday anniversary of Miss Mary K. Schmitt. An enjoyable party for this gracious and youthful lady was attended by members of her family. Present were her sisters, Mrs. John (Emma) Lay, Mrs. Christine Miller, and Mrs. Frank Freund; her brother, Joseph S. Schmitt; and a sister- in-law, Mrs. Math (Mamie) Schmitt.
