PAUL WALKINGTON, School Secretary or Clerk. 40Et8 Chef De Gare, A.J. "Tony" Kirchberg of McHenry . County Voiture 5T& of La Societe des Quarante Hommes et Hui Chevaux, announced at the last promenade that "The little Voiture with a Big Heart" would continue to -operate at full speed through the holiday season in order to fullfill the obligations of the voiture programs set forth by the Cehminot Locaux and the Voyageurs for the coming year. The December Promenade was set for Wednesday Dec. 15, at the American Legion home in Huntley. After the promenade a joint Christmas party was scheduled by V. 578 of the 40 et 8 and Cabane 578 of the La Femmes. An issue that will be brought forth is the possibility of presenting an additional nurses scholarship this coming year due to the success and efforts put forth by Cabane 578 in conjunction with that program, namely the Schlachtfest that was held last month. Should this additional scholarship be awarded for the coming year, that will bring the total oi Scholarships awarded to deserving residents of McHenry county to the sum of thirty-one by McHenry County Voiture 578 of the 40 et 8. With the continuing rise in tuition and schooling of these nurses, the voiture will maintain a full speed ahead effort to raise funds through additional programs. Hugh J.
