Dennis, Sunnyside Estate^, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 28, in Memorial hospital, Woodstock, where he had been confined four days. Mr. Williams, a lifelong resident, was born May 7, 1894, in Volo. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are his wife, Cecili a N e u b a u e r W i l l i a m s ; f o u r , sisters, Sister Mary Lambert, OSF, Mrs. Rose (Bernard) T o n y a n o f R i n g w o o d , M r s . Louise (Fred) Smith of Johnsburg and Mrs. Eva (Michael) D e g e n o f M c H e n r y ; - t w o brothers, Joseph and Anton, of McHenry. A son, Henry, died in 1921. The body rests at the George R. Justen & Son funeral home after 7 o'clock Wednesday evening. Mass will be sung at 10 o'clock Friday morning at St. John the Baptist Catholic church, with interment in the church cemetery. JOHN J. DANKO Funeral services were held at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon at Trinity Slovak Lutheran church, Chicago, for John Joseph Danko, 77, of 212 E. Rte. 120, McHenry, who died Saturday, Dec. 25, in McHenry hospital. Burial was in Bohemian National cemetery. Mr. Danko was a native of Czechoslovakia, where he was born Oct. 6, 1888. He had resided with his brother, Steve, in the McHenry community for many years. Other survivors include another brother, Samuel, of Chicago and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Gaza of Chicago and another in Czechoslovakia. The body was transferred from the George R. Justen & 'Son funeral home to the Borgeaud chapel in Chicago. LAURA MARKWART Last rites were conducted from the Church of St. Julian in Chicago Monday for Mrs. Laura K. Markwart, 78, of 191.1 Oak drive, McHenry. Mrs. Markwart died Dec. 23 in Wesley Memorial hospital, Chicago. Survivors are her husband, John; two sons, John, Jr., of Island Lake and Lester of Chicago; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a brother, Peter Schnur, of Chicago. MABEL M. KRAI'S Mrs. Mabel M. Kraus, 71, a forty-year resident of Mineral Springs subdivision, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, in Alexian Brothers hospital, Chicago, following a few hours' illness. She resided at 43.">9 N. Richmond, Chicago. Services were held at Mee & Ramee funeral home Thursday with interment in Irving Park cemetery. Survivors are a son, Henry E. (Bud) Kraus; two grandsons, Edward and Thomas, of St. Ana, Calif.; and a sister, Mrs. Ellen Koelsch, of Chicago. Her husband, Henry E., and a daughter, Lucille, preceded her in death. BENJAMIN (i. FRANCKE Benjamin G. Francke, 46, of 2919 N. Wooded lane, McHenry, died Christmas evening, Dec. 25, about 9 o'clock following an illness of several months. He was born in Chicago Aug. 11. 1919. The family had resided here permanently for about twelve years after being summer residents for twentyfive years. Mr. Francke was district manager for the Hough Mfg. Co. of Janesville, Wis. Survivors are his wife, Betty; a son, Gary P.; two daughters, Deborah and . Katherine, at home; and his mother, Josephine Francke, of Chicago. His father, Benjamin E. Francke, preceded him in death. The body rested at the M. Justen and Son home, where services conducted by Rev. Ernest Carder of the Community Methodist church at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon.
