Sansone, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. Sansone of 3803 E. Lake Shore drive, Wonder Lake, has received his third promotion in two years of service with the Army. Bruce is stationed in Beyreuth, Germany as a pay specialist. He celebrated his promotion by visiting France, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, and Italy. Sutton, USN, son of Mrs. Dorothy Crawford of 2305 Manor Lane, Eastwood Manor, has reported for duty at the Naval Support activity in Da Nang, Vietnam. The activity was established to meet increased requirements for combat logistic support of operations in Vietnam. Approximately 3..500 Navy officers and men are being assigned to the activity. Their tasks will include offloading ships and handling supplies from razor blades to roadgraders, aircraft fuel and lubricants, and provisions of all kinds, through the port of Da Nang and over beaches from the demilitarized zone in the north to ChU Lai in the south. Ziebel, born Sunday, March 27, in McHenry hospital, died there on March 28. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Martin Ziebel of 2711 W. Apache trail, McHenry; Mrs. Ziebel is thei former Lynda Wiedenhoeft. Graveside rites were conducted at 10 o'clock Wednesday; at. St Patrick's cemetery.,. ROBERT A. VOGT A funeral Mass was sung Tueisday morning in St. Mary's church for Robert A. Vogt, 83, of 3415 N. The deceased was born in Germany Nov. 18, 1882," and came to this country as a small child. He had lived most of his life in this area, where he was a dairy farmer. . Mr. Vogt was a member of St. Mary's Holy Name society. His wife, Anna, died in 1945. He is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Verne (Verona) Roberts, Mrs. .Robert (Roslyn) Anderson and Mrs; John (Anamae) Bockrath of Gurnee, Mrs. Harold (Lillian) Blomstrom and Mrs. Ruth Jones of Waukegan and Mrs. TCdward (Emily)' Cook of DesPlaines; a son, Robert, of McHenry; sixteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a sister Mrs. Rose' Rosing of Antioch. Three sons preceded him in death. The body rested at the George R. Justen and Son funeral home until the time of last rit6s. , Al/TA BECKNELL Alta Becknell, 67, of the Island Lake community, died in McHenry hospital early on the morning of March 30. She had been confined to the hospital for five weeks after \ breaking a hip. MRS. FRIEDA EBERT Mrs. Frieda Ebert, 65, of 313 S.; Route 31, McHenry, died in McHenry hospital, March 30, where she had tbeen a patient for five days. V Born May 22, 1900 in Oneida, la., she is survived by her husband, Charles. The body was taken to the John Clifton funeral home in Earlville, la., for services , and burial. Local arrangements werer made by the George R. ?us|fejn and Son funeral home. MILK PRODUCTION Illinois' milk production is 5 percent less than last year at this time. Illinois milk cows numbered 460,000 one year ago and only 424,000 now. Milk production in the United States is down 6 percent from last year and the smallest for the month since 1959. February milk production is estimated At 9,254 million pounds, or 1.69 pounds per person daily.
