All the youngsters in the Manor are most welcome. There will be special eggs with special prizes. Let's have a good turnout! ! ! I Saturday evening E.M.P.O.A. held another youth activity function, for all the youngsters in the Manor. There were two delightful movies by Walt Disney, "Bear Country" and "Tiok". Later in the evening the dance set were entertained by a very popular band from Mount Prospect, The chaperones for the evening were: Joe Washburn, Kay Mitchell, Elmer Borcovan, Milt McHale and Richard Hawkins. E.M.P.O.A. is working out arrangements to have at least one function for the children in the Manor each month. The main purpose of any major community activity should be to stimulate and encourage our youths in their pursuit to senior and loyal citizenship. With summer approaching rapidly, our main concern should be to make certain that there are healthy worthwhile activities for our children to participate in, and to make their summer more rewarding. There are also plans to revamp our baseball field and install back-stops. This will take a lot of effort and planning. If you wish to help in any way .please contact any officer of E.M.P.O. A. School Board Meeting The school board has agreed to put on their agenda for the April meeting at Edgebrook school, "Our problems with the black top walkway to Hilltop School." If anyone js interested in expressing their views on this matter, please attend this meeting. This is the first year the walkway has been in use and if the problems that have been encountered, are not corrected now, it will be extremely difficult to do something about them next year. REJECTEES HEALTH PLAN Each month in Illinois, about 2,200 draftees, four out of 10, are rejected for physical reasons. About 30 per cent have conditions that could have been corrected previously but were -not, either because of the individual's lack of knowlege of available facilities, or lack of money. The U. S. Public Health Service developed a plan to refer medical rejectees on a voluntary and confidential basis to local public or private" community facilities for comprehensive health services. Under this plan, the Illinois Department of Public Health entered into a contract with: the U.S.P.H.S. to establish an Armed Forces Medical Rejectee Program for the state. No funds are available for treatment, but each rejectee who wishes itN is referred to a source of treatment. Be modern with Swivel Spray Built Into This New Kitchen Faucet! WEBER Plbg. & Htg. 2801 W.
