NEW CAMPING RATES The Illinois Department of Conservation has announced new rates for camping in areas over which the department has jurisdiction. New rates go into effect immediate*- ly. The fee will be one dollar per day per site at primitive campsites. At modern sites, where showers are provided, the fee will be $1.50 per day per site. Parks with modern campsites are Pere Marquette, Illinois Beach, New Salem and Black Hawk. There will be no increse in charges at group camps Where kitchen facilities are provided.
