We can bpast of forty-two from the Johnsburg public school, fifty from St. John's school, many from the McHenry high school, and several from Marian Central Catholic high school in Woodstock. Of course we also. have those who are graduating from various colleges. Whatever their plans are in the future, whether they are to continue schooling, or go on to some chosen profession, or the armed forces, all of us hope their dreams come true. All we can do as parents is give these young people the enticement to go on to greater things. The result is strictly up to them. Please don't waste a minute of your valuable education. After you have learned something, it is never lost. Once again congratulations to all our graduates. Dogs on llu> Loose Again That old soap box of mine is going to be put to use once more. The tiresome subject of dogs running loose has been called to my attention again. This particular lady has small children of her own, besides other little ones playing in her yard and she says the dogs on the loose have been terrifying thom. These dogs are quite brazen and defy anydne to chase them. So please once ali'jt g©@d to get home... after a day of hard work or hard play. And it's pleasant to relax with cool, refreshing beer. In fact, 65 % of all the beer produced in this country is enjoyed at home. It cheers your taste as it renews your iest. So, make yourself at home... with beert ~ UNITED STATES BREWERS ASSOCIATION, INC. gain, dog owners if you know you are guilty of letting your dog run loose do something now before someone gets hurt. With the warm weather on us, you know how dogs can be affected. Don't wait until some innocent youngsier is bitten before restraining your pet. Shocking Incident For the second time within a reasonable length of time the Robert Hoppe home on Fairview avenue has been the target of bullets. Whether they are by accident, or on purpose, is not known, but it has frightened the entire family. The first incident happened several weeks back when a bullet lodged in their home exterior. This past week Mrs. Hopp called me to say that their home was a target once again. This time the bullet from a high caliber rifle penetrated the wall and lodged in a cabinet just a foot above the head of her young son who was playing on the floor below the cabinet. The Hopps have notified the police and they are making a full scale investigation of the incidents. Parents, if your youngsters are out with any type of guns, please explain the dangers thoroughly. Guns of any sort are dangerous when in the hands of someone without complete knowledge of them. Third Granddaughter Welcomed' r Mr. and Mrs. Leo Michels became grandparents for the fourth time last week when their daughter and son-in-law, Don and Chris HrUby, of Fox Lake, added a baby girl to their family. The robust young lady weighed 8 lbs. 14 oz., when she arrived at St. Therese hospital. In the future years she , will answer to the the name of Colleen. Don and Chris also have a son, Brett, who is almost two. Many happy wishes to the parents and grandparents reside in Fox Lake. Minnesota Vacation Joe and Judy Jacques and their young daughter returned last week after a delightful vacation in Minnesota visiting his family. The only incident that marred the good time was Joe's father had to be admitted to the hospital while they were there. We hope by this time he is doing much better. Joe's sister made the return trip with them to spend sometime here enjoying the good old "Johnsburg hospitality". What can This Man do for You?
