f Section One -- Page Two THE McHENRY PLAINDEALER Thursday, September 15, 1966 McHenry Area Home Among Three On Hospitality Tour Plans are nearing completion for the annual Hospitality Day sponsored by the woman's auxiliary to Memorial Hospital for McHenry County. This festival event is to be held Wednesday, Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. until b p.m. Many other projects sponsored by the auxiliary during the past nineteen years have contributed some $275,000 to the hospital for building purposes and the purchase of much equipment. All donations and receipts from this particular day however, are placed in the building fund for the specific use in future expansion plans for the hospital. Three homes will be open for tour this year. The Freeman Dotsons, formerly of Hins* dale, will open their new Country Club Estates - a new subdivision across from the Woodstock Country club. Mrs. Irwin Burger and the creative cone group, along with Mrs. Charles Wright and her famous miniatures, will sell their products at this home. Mrs. Wm. Kelly, with her Wonder Weed ladies, will display and sell their wares at the Charles Liebman residence, 410 South Ridge, rural McHenry. The Paul Schultz residence, 326 West Jackson street, Woodstock, will house all the hand knits, hand mades and toys under the chairmanship of Mrs. Frank Mischler. "Home Bafte" The eve#^ popular Gift and Thrift shop will again serve as "home base" for many visitors. It is in front of this busy little shop that extra maps may be obtained, tickets purchased and information in general will be cheerfully given. The shop will "overflow" into the main floor of the Congregational-Universalist church this year, with their Christmas gifts and treats for the wise and early shopper. This should make for more liesurely and comfortable shopping in the "Nearly New" room and the rest of the shop with its novel and useful gifts. Mrs. C.J. Hartnett, Mrs. Herbert Kemp, Mrs. Harry Kinne and Mrs. Harry Abraham will over-see the shops this day. The lower level of the church will be taken over for the bake sale.
