Gather your family together and take them to church over next weekend. We will all be better spiritually for any amount of time we spend in prayer. Hospital patient* Please remember in your prayers Anton Schmitt of Chapel Hill Road, who is very sick in the Woodstock hospital. He has been confined there for a couple of weeks. Joe Huemann became a patient in the McHenry hospital quite unexpectedly last week. We hope by the time this comes to print he will be home. Resident Claimed by Death Mrs. Tyne Dumil, age 52, passed away at St. Lukes- Presbyterian hospital, Sunday, Oct. 2. She had been in ill health for the past year and a half. She and her family have resided at 2213 Fairview for six years. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday from Elmhurst. Our sincere sympathies are extended to her husband, Kenneth, and her daughter, Tymia, age 10. Home for the Winter With the bats, balls and uniforms tucked away for the winter, Chuck Hiller is settling down to a little more normal routine with his wife, Pam, and daughter, Stephanie. Chuck completed another season with the New York Mets, which is quite an exciting life, but it still goes back to the same old saying "There is no place like home", and I'm sure Chuck will be the first to agree. Anyhow, we say welcome • home once again to him. Presented for Baptism Our new son, Scott James, was baptized in St. John's church by Father Dording at 2 o'clock in the afternoon last Sunday. The Mass which took place at 2:30 was attended by many of the young couples' relatives and friends. They would like to have their relatives and friends join them at an open house celebration on this date in Twin Lakes, Wis. The festivities will get underway at 6:30. Sonny and Dolly have been frequent visitors here and have many personal attachments in our good town. Let's show them they are well liked and be on hand to help them celebrate. . Saddles Passliag Bewilders All Although Mrs. Anna Fritz was 79 at the time of her death, it came as a great shock to all. She had been in comparatively good . health these past years. Mas. Fritz passed away at her home on Hillcrest Place Friday morning suddenly. She had been up and doing light household chores when she was stricken. The Johnsburg rescue squad was summoned to her home but she had already succumbed. Mrs. Fritz will be sorely missed by the people who have come in contact with her over these past years. She and her husband, Jacob, have done many things that benefitted our community. Our children at St. John's' school play on property made available through the generosity of the Fritzes. We also have a most beautiful subdivision named for them as they planned it and lived to see it materialize to a garden spot of the county. It is justly called Jak-Ana Heights. There will be many happy memories for all whenever the name of Fritz is recalled. Her husband to whom she was married for 61 years will feel her absence the most I'm sure. To him we send our deepest heartfelt sympathies and hope that he will enlist our aid if the occasion arises. He has done much far many and now we hppe to help him in some way through this sad time. Funeral services were conducted from McHenry at 11 ^o'clock Monday morning with burial in St. John's cemetery.
