The McHenry Chief of Police, Richard Clark, contacted us and gave us the information as to weed cutting. During the past week you may have noted that the city crews have been busy cutting weeds along the roadside. They will continue to keep the easements clear for safety sake and ask the cooperation of all lot-owners in keeping the rest of the empty lots cut. They are in the process of sending letters to the lot-owners to the effect that the owner will be responsible for cutting the weeds on their property. Aqy lots that must bs cut by city crews will be billed by the city or have liens placed against the property.
