Henry K. Welke, 47, of Harvard died in Memorial Hospital, Woodstock, shortly after being admitted that morning and Dwight E. Williams, 59, also of Harvard, was pronounced dead on arrival. Their car was struck by a school bus on Rt. 14, west of Woodstock. Driving a District 10 bus^ Harold A. Schacht of Woodstock was reported to have been unable to stop as he approached the highway from Hughes road and the vehicle skidded onto Rt. 14, striking the east-bound auto. In a second accident, Dale Arnett, 17, of Poplar Grove was killed in a crash of his car and a school bus which occurred between Poplar Grove and Capron. Other Accidents Egan Reike of 8904 W. Acorn path, Wonder Lake, was hospitalized in Woodstock Monday morning suffering broken ribs and collarbone in an accident on Kishwaukee Valley road, west of Hughes road, - at 7:10 o'clock. State police said Charles Fry of Woodstock was driving west on Kishwaukee when his car approached Reike, whose vehicle was on the shoulder of the road. The latter made a "U" turn in front of Fry, striking the latter auto on the left side. Police estimated damage to the Fry car at $300 and to the Reike auto at $250. A passenger in the Fry vehicle, Joe Bettino of Woodstock, sustained a bump on the head and ne^k injuries. Reike^ was charged with starting a stopped vehicle without taking safety precautions. Kabot and the other driver, Raymond Glaser of Fox Lake, gave different versions of the manner in which the accident occurrred, each claiming the other driver was on the wrong side of the road. Peter Nichols of 5212 W. Fountain lane. McHenry, was blamed by state police for following too closely when his car struck another and caused a chain reaction accident early Thursday morning. Max L. Nelson of 717 Oeffling drive, McHenry. had stopped on Rt. 120. a mile east of the city, to make a left turn. Le- Roy E. Morck of 4215 Ponca, McHenry, stopped behind the Nelson vehicle, but the third car driven by Nichols, was unable to stop in time and struck Morck. The accident, which occurred at 7:05 a.m., caused injuries which sent Morck to McHenry hospital for treatment. State police investigated. A Fox Lake youth, Harold S. Begin with infancy to give the child everything he wants. In this way he will grow up to believe the world owes him a living. , 2. When he picks up bad words, laugh at him. This will make him think he's cute. It will" also encourage him to pick up "cuter" phrases that will blow off the too of your head later. q 3. Never give him any spiritual training. Wait until he is twenty-one and then let him "decide for himself". 4. Avoid use of the word "wrong". It may develop a guilt complex. This will condition him to believe later, when he is arrested for stealing a car, that society is against him and he is being persecuted. , 5. Pick up everything he leaves lying around - books, shoes, clothes. Do everything for him so that he will be experienced in throwing all responsibility on others. 6. Let him read any printed matter he can get his hands on. Be careful that the silverware and drinking glasses are sterilized, but let his mind feed on garbage. 7. Quarrel frequently in the presence of your children. In this way they will not be too shocked when the home is broken up later. 8. Give a child all the spending money he wants. Never let him earn his own. Why should he have things as tough as you had them? 9. --Satisfy his every craving for food, drink and comfort. See that every sensual desire is gratified. Denial may lead to harmful frustration. . 10. Take his part against neighbors, teachers, policemen. They are all prejudiced against your child. 11. When he gets into real trouble, apologize for yourself by saying, "I never could do anything with him". 1?. Prepare for a life of grief. You will be likely to have it.
