This was the slogan at Wonder Lake last Sunday as families made a donation to the March of Dimes. For their reward they were given a thrilling ride on snowmobiles. It's a short, but cold and lonely wait as a snowmobile approaches to conclude one ride and take another passenger aboard. SELECT COUNTY FOR EXPERIMENT IN HEART DRIVE McHenry county has been chosen by the Heart fund as the site for a new experiment in! fund solicitation which will involve no door-to-door canvassing, it was announced by John R. Tambone, M.D., -president of the McHenry County Heart association. Dr. Tambone said "We are convinced that the public realizes the importance of contributing to the Heart fund, since it is the nation's first line of defense against diseases of the Heart and blodd vessels which strike down more people each year than all other diseases combined. "With this in mind," he said, "we will establish heart collection centers in each community. We will publicize the location of these centers and residents will be encouraged to bring their gifts to the nearest center or mail them to the center of their ^choice." He said each collection center would provide daily reports of contributions through a chairman "to keep the public fully informed of campaign progress." Weekly reports will be provided by James Hodges, McHenry County heart fund treasurer, on total collections from centers throughout the county. Dr. TamSone emphasized the need for increased contributfftns, saying "the Heart Fund supports vital research which has already been responsible for major advances in the control of heart and blood vessel diseases. It has also been responsible for educational programs which enables the public to safeguard itself against the occurrence of these diseases." He said "I am convinced that the citizens of McHenry county will give and give generously to this very worthwhile cause."
