USE THE CLASS!REDS Robert Schultx, R.Ph. Cancer, diabetes, paralysis and heart attacks are words to strike fear into the hearts of men. In all history no word has created the horror and stigma of the word leprosy. Since before the time of Christ the leper has been considered unclean and cursed by God. In some parts of the world the lepers were left to wander hopelessly, hooded and carrying a bell to warn of his approach: in others, the leper was considered legally dead. Medical science has learned that leprosy (known as Hansen's disease) poses extremely little danger of communication. If not a cure, the arrest of Hansen's disease is almost a certainly in every case.
