Well, here I am, a grandma, and sure actin' like one, these days. Seems like so many things are happenin* and all the modern gadgets are everthing*, it jest sets me in a whirl. I jest can't , fer the likes of me, get anthin' done. Fer instance, the kids that don't want to work nowadays. Why, in my day, they'd take a fast trip to the woodshed, instead o* takin' a pill. And you Your overhead Garage Door Special for February Adjust - Oil - Grease $7. 50 plus parts, Residential Also ask about our Automatic Door Operators duvitr4 McHenry can bet your bottom dollar on it, that trip would set them up better'n anythin' they have to offer now. They'd get a little religion, too, I reckon, along with the straightenin' out. I can't help wonderin' why some parents are so different, these days. They seemtoletthe kids run them ragged. Sure, we wanted everythin' we could give for the kids, too, but first came the kind of a man or woman they'd turn out to be. That was the most important thing, 'cause those kids were goin' to be grown up, someday, and they'd have to take things in their own hands and what kind of a world would it be, if they didn't know how to teach their younguns. I jest can't think what things is goin' t'be like fifty years from now. Well, I can't let it bother me too much, 'cause there ain't a thing I can do about it now. Seems like I saw it a comin' though, 'cause I been a talkin' about the way things was goin* for long enough. Folks didn't seem to pay much attention, thought I was a crack-pot or somethin'. But it's real enough now, too real. So, all I can do is go on a prayin' and a talkin' and a hopin' that things will be alright by the time all these grandchildren are grown up. Thank goodness, I got a couple & kids, with kids & their own, who thinks a lot like I do. Mebbe if all the sensible folks gets together and talks it over, they might come up with somethin' to help the sitiation.
