We had a kite flying contest on Sunday morning and the weather was so perfect for that sport that even Mom could get her kite up with absolutely no effort at all. The Drumls spotted a robin in their back yard on Sunday and I guess all in all, especially with Monday's wind and rain, that spring has officially arrived. THE SUNNY SIDE Life will always be more pleasant If one tries to follow the advice of the song and always walk on the sunny side of the street. Those who search for gloom will always find it. Generally, they fail to see the many bright spots along the way. Life on this earth will never be perfect, for any of us. There are Brood days and bad days. The trouble is that we often forget the good times when trouble looms on the horizon. We anticipate the worst and, in so doing, we see a darker picture and ignore a light of hope. Some of us expect so much that we must be disappointed. We sit on the sidelines and wait' for good fortune to come our 53 way, when we should be on our feet, doing something. Work and effort point the ' way to the bright road. Whatever happens, whatever needs " doing, go forth with a strong t will to do the very best thajt.^ you can to see that things go • v •as right as they possibly can.^ Do this, and you'll alwayfci walk on the sunny side of life, j ITEM: If you have a tendency to overstuff your handbag, empty it frequently 'and sort your collection. Repeated overstuffing will change the shape of the bag, weaken the fastenings and may break the seams. When the outside needs cleaning, follow the methods recommended for it. speciaiB^ong sn BUSINESSMHE? 12 noon to 2 p.m. S LUNCH FINE FOODS - COURTEOUS SERVICE Mile North of Wauconda on Old Route 12 Phone J A 6-2929 lit." vTift- :c CHEF - Gas incinerators make sense.
