ATWOOD The Lilymoor association held its general meeting Tuesday, April 9, in the dining room of Club Lilymoor. Guest speaker was Mr. Atwood of the Public Service company.. He talked to the people about the pos sibility of street lights in the subdivision. At the next June general meeting there will be more specific details on the street lights. Also brought up was the report on the dance held. An allotment was passed for the repairs of the roads. The roads will be worked on in the next few weeks. Grading and graveling will be done besides some other work. Gravel will be put wnere needed most. The next general me eting will be held Tuesday, June 9, at 8 p.m. in the large dining room of Club Lilymoor. Please try to attend the meeting to find out about the street lights. VILLAGE OF LAKEMODR NEWS Hie following appointments were made at the last village meeting, Thursday, April 11. Treasurer, Larry Booster, health officer, Dr. John Gray, sanitation inspector, Dave Wilcox and building inspector, Norman Morrison. Chief of Police George Johnson, policemen, George Watkins and William Frasemer, policeman and radio operator, Frank Bitter man. Also appointed to the zoning board of appeals is Ray Blades. The engineers will be going over the roads at the end of the month to check their condition. SYMPATHIES Our deepest sympathies goto Viola Arbogast, Connie ancJRay Smith, Mary Sebesta, and Jim Arbogast on the loss of Viola's mother and grandmother, Ethel Edwards. Ethel passed away on Monday, April 8 attheMcHenry hospital after a lengthy illness. Our deepest sympathies goto Fred Bykowski on the loss of his father, Andrew Bykowski. Andrew passed away Friday, April 4 in Chicago. Oiiv deepest sympathies goto Mr. Hager on the loss of his father. BUNDLE 07 JOY Margo Leone presented her husband, Robert, with a beautiful girl Sunday, April 7. Tiny Mary Marie weighed in at 7 lbs. 1 Vi ozs. and was 19^ inches long. Waiting home to greet their new little sister are Tammy and Robin. The proud grandparents are Helen Colberg of Lilymoor and Joe and Ann Leone of Lakeland Park. By the way this is Helen's thirty-seventh grandchild and j6e and Ann's sixth. The proud great-grandfather is George Leone. Congratulations and bfest wishes on your blessed ev^ rtt. Tom completed his basic training at the Marine Corps training center in San Diego, Calif. He also had advance training before getting^ his leave. GET-WELL Wishes go to Ed Spahr who is a patient at the McHenry hospital. Ed had a very bad case of emphysema. Get-well wishes go to Larry Bartelt who is a patient at the McHenry hospital too. Here's hoping you both are now homo and are just fine, Ed and Larry. REALTORS HEAR PLAN COMMISSION GUEST SPEAKER A regular meeting of the McHenry County board ofRealtors was held at the International House in Harvard. Robert G. Duchaurme, with the Northwestern Illinois Planning commission, was the guest speaker. The following applications for membership ware presented and approved: Roger Ladd of Ladd Realty, active member; John Kirchberg of Ladd Really, associate member; George A. Peck of D.F. Tappan, associate member; Robert Hastings with Hastings Realty, active member; Bill Van Wazer of Dovenmuehle, Inc., active B. member. CHRISTIAN SCIENCE CHURCH The Lesson-Sermon to be read this Sunday in McHenry Christian Science church is titled "Doctrine of Atonement".
