Death claimed him in a Chicago hospital on Saturday. Funeral services were conducted from St. John's church on Wednesday. CELEBRATION HONORS UNCLE AND NEPHEW Some fifty persons were in the John Weingart home on April 28 to take part in a festive double celebration. Mike, youngest son of John and Fran Weingart, made his First Holy Communion earlier that day and at 2 that afternoon David Richard Huemann, was baptized. David is the son of Dick and Janet Huemann. Sponsor's for the infant were Mary Jo Weingart and Jim O'Brien. Proud grandparents are the John Weingarts and the Fred Huemanns. This little fellow is also lucky to have two greatgrandmothers, Mrs. Mary Fuchs of Nebraska and Mrs. Anna Reinboldt of McHenry. Congratulations to all. BOY SCOUT PAPER DRIVE REMINDER Just a short time remains if you wish to get rid of those old newspapers and magazines that have been cluttering up the place. The Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts of Pack 452 have been collecting them this past week and the drive comes to an end on May 11. Please call either Sally Segerstrom at 385-0964 or Dolores Roberts at 385-4636. ROYALITY IN FAMILY Our house, needless to say, was really "shook up" last Friday evening. Our daughter, Joy, was chosen as prom queen at Marian central high school's Junior prom which was held in Delavan, Wis. She shared the evening's reign with Marty Conway of McHenry who was king. Kathy, Barb and Bob Hettermann along with the "proud parents" made the trip up there to be present for the crowning. Mr. and Mrs. Conway were also present for the happy occasion as were several other parents. Congratulations to Pat O'Connor of Dolores drive who was a member of the court. He was one of the five finalists vieing for the King* s court. HAPPY WISHES Happy birthday to Douglas Oeffling who turns eight on May 23.
