News About Our Servicemen ;al Corner s* GOP CORN ROAST Dundee township Republicans, supporting Illinois' title as the country's leading corn producer, will sponsor a corn roast in East Dundee oil Saturday, Aug. 17, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The corn roast, which has become a popular annual event, will be held in the picnic grove adjacent to Santa's village at Illinois Routes 72 and 25. The day has been described as a day of family fun, with special admission rates for the amusement park and free corn provided by Rep. John B. The huge mobile airfield also made several television appearances as newsmen the world over came aboard Shangri-la to watch and record at-sea operations. While in the Mediterranean, Shangri-la was operating with the U.S. Sixth Fleet ami during the month of June, the carrier participated in the Sixth Fleet0 s 20th anniversary celebration.
