We saw the West. Up high in the mountains and through the desert^, hot places with no humidity and cool refreshing ocean breezes. Eating at the Fisherman's Wharf, traveling to Los Angeles freeways were exciting experiences. Our route took us through the South Dakota, Bad Lands, Black Hills, Yellow Stone Park, Salt Lake City , Reno, Lake Tahoe. We spent four days in San Francisco which included a side trip to San Jose. Then a breath taking ocean drive to Los Angeles and to Long Beach where we spent time with friends. We al so visited Di sneyland. Spent a day at the fabulous Las Vegas, we were told not to miss it. After three weeks, we arrived home, richer in knowledge of the great West, weary but glad to be home and to celebrate our forty-first wedding anniversary and one year in our new home.
