MEYERS William F. Meyers of 5005 W. Rt. 120, McHenry, died Sunday, Oct. 13, in McHenry hospital at the age of 71. Mr. Meyers was born May 13. 1897 in Chicago. He was a retired Yellow Cab driver. The deceased had resided in this area for about a year0 Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Flucke and Mrs. Berniece Lukas of Chicago; two sons, Richard of Streamwood and Wlllard of McHenry; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a brother, Willard in California. The body rested at the Peter M. Justen & Son chapel until Tuesday afternoon, when Rev. Richard N. Wright of the Bible church officiated at last rites. Burial was in Ringwood cemetery. She had been a resident of Wonder Lake for many years. Survivors are a son, Robert, of Crystal Lake; a daughter, Geraldine Watters, of Seattle, Wash.; and six grandchildren. Mrs. Cormier had donated her body for research at Loyola university and her eyes to an eye bank. A memorial service was offered in her memory at 11 o'clock Saturday morning in Christ the King Catholic church with Fr. Ambre of Crystal Lake reading the Mass. Wied contends that in December of 1967, as a patron in the defendant's place of business, he was struck by a McHenry resident. He charges serious injury resulted. The Federal Executive board coordinates the activities of over 200 federal agencies in the Chicago area. Mr. Macy is responsible to the president for the Federal Executive boards in the fifteen major cities throughout the United States. PERSONAL INJURY SUIT A $200,000 personal injury and damage suit has been filed against David R. and Alphonse Wirtz on behalf of William Wong and William Humphrey as the result of an October, 1966 accident on Rt. 120. The two men claim they were premanently injured and Wong's car damaged as the result of a two-vehicle crash involving a car driven by David Wirtz and owned by Alphonse Wirtz. Scoggins of Crystal Lake and Michael A. Noval of 7711 Deep Springs, Wonder Lake, all for three violations, and Joseph J. Ward of Algonquin for violation of curfew act.
